JailHost is available as a standard with all the shared hosting plans that we provide and you can activate it with just a single click in your Hepsia Control Panel. Unlike other Control Panels where add-on domains keep their content in the primary domain folder, each domain or subdomain in Hepsia has its own folder, so using JailHost will make a big difference. You can select which websites will use the option and will be locked in accordance with your content as you may have some website where you'd like to allow users or administrators to access other folders inside your Internet hosting account. Nevertheless, this feature will add an extra level of security to your sites along with the firewalls which we use and even if any of your sites is hacked, you'll be able to restore it fast and easy using any of the several daily backup copies of your entire account that we will generate.

JailHost in Semi-dedicated Servers

JailHost comes with all of our semi-dedicated server packages and you could activate it with a few clicks. It is not turned on by default as we don't want to prevent some scripts that need to access multiple folders in the account from functioning properly. You could activate JailHost for all other Internet sites that you have from the Hepsia Control Panel and you can do this quickly even when you don't have any previous experience. What allows us to offer JailHost is the way in which Hepsia maintains multiple domains - they all have individual folders that can be "locked". In comparison, other well known Control Panels have add-on domains and the content of the latter is stored in the main domain folder, so if a single Internet site is hacked, the whole account is hacked, which is not the case with Hepsia.
